Tlaloc, The Storm God. This is the 2nd deck depicting the gods of Mexico's ancient Aztec religion.
Tlaloc is the God of Rain. Worshipped as the giver of life and sustenance, but also feared for his power over hail, thunder, lightening, and even the rain itself. Associated with caves, springs, and mountains, specifically the sacred mountain, Mount Tlaloc, where he is said to reside.
Meixca artists use the color blue to represent Tlaloc, and he will always be carrying a vessel that contains water.
This colorful and intricately hand drawn deck honors ancient Aztec traditions by bringing their past back to the present. Makes a fantastic addition to any card collection and adds an element of interest and design to any card game.
